I have messed with plenty of rails and own a few. Here are my thoughts, FWIW: Larue still rocks for a solid quad rail. Not the newest, but got it right the first time. Troy VTAC/Extreme/Alpha are meh. They work and work with GI barrel nut, but are not great. I own three ALG rails.
